Funding news: Neighbourhood Heritage grants
Is your church involved in heritage activities , or planning to be? Historic England’s new Neighbourhood Heritage: Grants for Communities programme offers around 21 grants of up to £15,000 for community-led heritage projects in England.
Projects could include local research, oral histories, community mapping, creative activities, workshops or heritage audits. Locally significant buildings, places, sites and stories all count — national listing is not required. Projects must be co-created with underrepresented communities.
Projects will run from March 2027 to August 2028. Apply by email by 11.59pm on 27 November 2026.
