Innovation Grants

The purpose of Innovation grants is to allow promising ideas to be developed and tested in a unique context to share learning and with potential for future replication, as well as delivering additional growth.

It is anticipated innovation pilot projects will include end of project retrospectives & sharing sessions - reflections, learning, interviews, testimonies.

What can be funded?

Innovation funding is for ‘trying and testing’ the following:

  • A new missional approach/ idea being created or taken into a new/ unique context
  • An existing missional approach/ idea being improved
  • A missional approach that has proven effective elsewhere that has potential for adoption into Chichester

What cannot be funded?

  • A project idea that isn’t innovative in approach
  • A project idea that lacks potential for replication
  • Projects without PCC support

The Mission Fund Committee meets six times a year to consider applications.  The next meeting date is 15th September 2026.  Final Expressions of Interest for consideration at this meeting should be submitted at least a week in advance.

If your application is successful, you’ll receive your funding. You’ll monitor progress, keep records and share outcomes, learning and celebration stories with us.
