‘If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed’

Each year since 2000 the Diocese of Chichester has resourced a high profile day devoted to the Ministry of Healing. Around 200 people attend each year making this event a regular date in the diary.

Over the years a pattern for the day has evolved with a main speaker giving a keynote address followed by a variety of teaching seminars in the morning and afternoon. The day concludes with a time of worship and a reflection on the day with an opportunity for anointing with oil, confession and extended prayer ministry.

Last year we welcomed Rosemary Phillips founder of the Lazarus Healing Trust who inspired us with two excellent addresses and some outstanding testimony.

For 2020 our theme is based around the spiritual freedom that we can experience through Christ and how that works out in everyday life.

We are excited to announce that this year’s Keynote Speaker will be Revd Steve Gendall – Senior Chaplain at the Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre.

In addition there will be three seminars:-

Susie Flashman Jarvis – Counsellor and author. Susie will be speaking out of her own experience of ‘Freedom from addiction and our secret habits’.

Denise Cross - Denise is part of the Executive Leadership of Ellel Ministries International. Her topic will be ‘Free to be my God created self’

Karen Thompson - Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Brighton. Karen’s topic is entitled: Freedom ‘to be with’ – professional care givers’; increasing awareness of the importance of spiritual care.

Victoria Baptist Church in Eldon Road, Eastbourne remains our regular venue as they offer a wonderful welcome with very good access, facilities and parking. There is a charge of £10.00 for the day which includes tea, coffee but not lunch.

There is also a link to Eventbritehttps://cutt.ly/RrxUYvPfor on-line bookings; postal booking is also an option.

The conference is open to anyone, no matter what their personal beliefs may be, so please feel free to invite those who may be outside of your personal church circles. God is there in His power to bless and restore. We look forward to welcoming you on the day.

Revd Chris Lawrence - Chairman & Vicar St Thomas à Becket, Framfield
