On March 1st, a vibrant diocesan festival service was held for Mothers' Union Chichester at St John the Evangelist Church in Preston, Brighton.

The event marked the commissioning of officers for 2025-2027, including Michelle White as the new Diocesan President and Revd Emma Ham-Riche as Chaplain as well as the new trustees.

The service was presided over by Bishop Martin and welcomed esteemed guests, including Mothers' Union Worldwide President Kathleen Snow and Provincial President Comfort Fearon. Civic leaders in attendance included the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Mohammed Asaduzzaman, and the Lord Lieutenants of East and West Sussex, Andrew Blackman and Lady Emma Barnard.

Branch leaders walked in procession down the aisle with their deanery banners at the start of the service and proceeded out again at the end.

Please join us in praying for the ongoing work of Mothers' Union and the support provided by our parishes.
