    The Bishop of Chichester and Exeter College Oxford (patron) are seeking an incumbent for this rural parish (pop. 2,500), situated in the High Weald of East Sussex, close to the market town of Heathfield and to the South Downs.

    The parish comprises two churches (combined USA 40-50) worshipping in the central tradition of the Church of England.All Saints Church (Grade 1 listed) is situated in the centre of Waldron Village and St Bartholomew, Cross in Hand, close to the centre of Heathfield.St Bartholomew’s has a modern parish room adjacent to the church: ‘the Alleluia Room’, completed in 2022.There is a highly rated (2 f-e, VC) church school at Cross in Hand.

    The parish is seeking a priest who will be an able preacher and teacher, with the ability to unite further the two churches, work with a strong lay team, and reach out to the local community.
