Ride +Stride 12th September
Many churches across Sussex will be opening their doors for this year’s Ride + Stride fundraising day on Saturday, September. Lots of fun and interesting routes.
Sussex churches are being encouraged to open their doors for Ride + Stride on Saturday, September 13, from 9am to 5pm. The annual fundraiser, organised by the Sussex Historic Churches Trust, invites sponsored walkers, cyclists and riders to visit churches across the county, with funds shared between the participant’s chosen church and the Trust.sussexhistoricchurchestrust
Churches are asked to make sure their details are registered on the Trust’s website and that their own websites and Facebook pages clearly show they will be open on the day. Christopher Whittick, chair of trustees, said: "The Trust’s website is often the first place people check before donating or getting involved, and that it is now easier than ever to register a church and encourage more sponsorship."
