    Vicar of St Nicholas of Myra, Brighton

    A compassionate, lively and committed church is looking for a man or woman of catholic persuasion to be their new parish priest. This is Brighton’s oldest church and the mother church of the city.

    We are looking for someone who has

    • A fresh story of faith in Jesus Christ to tell
    • Liturgical skill
    • Love of prayer
    • A genuine love of people
    • An instinct for, and a commitment to inclusion
    • A flare for communication
    • A modern catholic disposition
    • Theological depth.
    • An ability to promote and affirm diversity.
    • Community spirit
    • A passion for proclaiming the Gospel in the context of our shared Church School.

    There is enthusiastic and very able lay leadership. The parsonage is within walking distance of the church. This is a unique context in which to serve, with a committed PCC, and an opportunity to play an important role in the life of this great city.
