Vocations Advisers Gather for Training and Fellowship at Hurstpierpoint College
Last week, Hurstpierpoint College played host to a training day for Vocations Advisers from across the Diocese.
The day, led by Revd Giles Carpenter, Diocesan Director of Ordinands, and Jamie Gater, Deputy Diocesan Director of Ordinands, brought advisers together for prayer, learning and fellowship as they support those exploring a sense of calling to ordained ministry or the religious life.
The early stages of the discernment process now combine dedicated one-to-one time with a Vocations Adviser and opportunities to meet in groups with others on a similar journey. Vocations Advisers play a vital role in accompanying enquirers through these first stages of discernment.
