Diocese welcomes new children and families officer
We’re delighted to announce that Belinda Ramsay has been appointed as the Diocese’s new Children and Families Officer, joining the team on 9th March.
Belinda joins us from the Diocese of Chelmsford and will focus on equipping and resourcing parishes to engage children and families in Christian discipleship. She’ll also be offering training, support, and encouragement to those working with younger members of our church communities.
Belinda will be working closely with Dan Jenkins (Youth Officer) and Sarah Rogers (Parish Support Team Leader) to ensure joined-up support for ministry with children, families, and young people across the diocese.

Belinda said she was very much looking forward to meeting her new colleagues and getting to know the stories behind the great work happening within the life of the parishes. “Having been a Children, Youth and Families Worker for over 25 years in different settings and countries, I look forward to sharing the skills I’ve gained and am passionate about championing Children and Families work within the Diocese.
