The Revd Dr Dominic Keech (pictured right) has been appointed to the Stall of the Prebendary of Selsey. This honour acknowledges Dominic’s outstanding work as a pastor and teacher, drawing on his deep intellect and imagination. His ministry continues to enrich diocesan reflection on the importance of liturgical worship — its dignity and the way that dignity shapes both Church and society.

The Revd Stephen Merriman has been appointed to the Stall of the Prebendary of Hova Villa. This recognises Stephen’s exemplary service as coordinator of the bishops’ liturgical chaplains, where his high standard of organisation, pastoral sensitivity, and attentive leadership have served the wider life and mission of the Diocese.

Both new Canons will be installed at Chichester Cathedral during Evensong on Sunday 22 March 2026 at 3.00pm.

All are warmly invited to attend the service. We kindly ask that those planning to come book their place in advance. Clergy are invited to robe in choir dress, and general seating will be available in the Quire, Presbytery, and Nave on a first-come, first-served basis.

Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Cathedral.
