Summer highlights: 950 Celebrations and so much more!
As summer draws to a close, we look back with joy at all the incredible moments we’ve shared together!
This has been a season full of life, faith, and celebration – from the 950th Anniversary events across the Diocese to inspiring gatherings like MayCamp at Plumpton, ordinations, youth and adult pilgrimages, the Diocesan family camp, the summer marquee events at the Bishop’s Palace (which welcomed over 1,000 people from our communities!), plus 15 school leaver services for 3600 year 6 pupils and the popular parish pilgrimages to the Cathedral - 58 parishes booked so far!
One of the many highlights was the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage, where young people from our parishes joined together in worship, friendship, and fun – you can watch the fabulous video here.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this wonderful summer – whether by attending, serving, praying, or supporting in so many ways. We look ahead to the new season with hope.
