Small Grants - Minor Repairs & Improvements and Net Zero Quick Wins

The Minor Repairs & Improvements and the Net Zero Quick Wins grant funds are now open for 2026-2029.

The Diocese of Chichester has been awarded two grant-funding streams by the central Church of England as part of the 'Buildings for Mission: Support for Churches' scheme, which will be awarded across 2026 to 2029. We are excited to offer these new sources of funding with the aim of enabling parishes to secure the future viability of their buildings while aspiring to meet their Net-Zero Carbon targets.

  • Minor Repairs & Improvements Grants - small grants for urgent repair works and improvements to church buildings
  • Net Zero Carbon 'Quick Wins' Grants - small grants which support churches and church halls in delivering small-scale NZC works

You can read the Guidance for Applicants document attached below to understand what will be eligible under the funding scheme. If you are ready to submit an application, you can find the Application Form below.

Both grant funds will be administered by the Church Buildings Team at Church House, in close collaboration with the four Archdeacons. Please note that grants cannot be given to projects who have not acquired the relevant permissions, nor can they be awarded to projects which have already finished or have started.
