Small Grants - Minor Repairs & Improvements and Net Zero Quick Wins

The Minor Repairs & Improvements fund has now closed to new applicants. The Net Zero Quick Wins grants are still available – please contact daniel.lee@chichester.anglican.org for further information.

The Diocese of Chichester has been awarded two new grant-funding streams by the central Church of England as part of the 'Buildings for Mission: Support for Churches' scheme, which will be awarded across 2024 and 2025. We are excited to offer these new sources of funding with the aim of enabling parishes to secure the future viability of their buildings while aspiring to meet their Net-Zero Carbon targets.

  • Minor Repairs & Improvements Grants - small grants for urgent repair works and improvements to church buildings
  • Net Zero Carbon 'Quick Wins' Grants - small grants which support churches and church halls in delivering small-scale NZC works

Applications have now closed for our Small Grants. Please contact Daniel Lee (Church Buildings and Fundraising Adviser) directly about claiming them, if you have not already.

We are expecting a renewal of funding in 2026, and this page will be updated with new information when this is awarded. You can read the '2024/2025'Guidance for Applicants' document to get a sense of what will be eligible under the funding scheme. Both grant funds will be administered by the Church Buildings Team and the Net Zero Carbon Team at Church House, in close collaboration with the four Archdeacons.
