If a member of diocesan clergy has been impacted by a traumatic event (such as a suicide, road traffic accident, threat of harm, violence etc) we offer a single 1:1 therapeutic debriefing to mitigate the risk of lasting or vicarious trauma. This is considered most effective when accessed as soon as possible after the event.
Email: laura.steven@chichester.anglican.org indicating in the subject line that it is an Urgent Request for Debriefing.
This can be followed up with counselling with one of the professional therapists on the the Wellbeing for Clergy and Families Team if needed.
