The Diocese of Chichester is committed to ensuring that all office holders are treated fairly with dignity and respect in the workplace, and to providing an inclusive and supportive working environment for all. We recognise that every experience of the menopause is different, and that some women may need additional consideration, support or adjustments to help them continue in their ministry.
This policy aims to educate all office holders on the possible impact of the menopause, encourage open conversations, and ensure that office holders feel supported in their roles. It also reflects the Diocese of Chichester’s commitment to equality and diversity, and to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of all office holders experiencing the menopause.
Full details can be found in the Clergy Menopause Policy.
