The Admission and Licensing of Readers
Bishop Will welcomed families and friends and those who came from parishes to support the candidates to be licensed as Readers or made Reader Emeritus during a service at the cathedral.
James Askew was admitted to the office of Reader and was licensed to his parish of Old Shoreham and Kingston Buci. Bishop Will also conferred the title of Reader Emeritus to 18 retired Readers. Other readers from parishes across the diocese reaffirmed their commitment to Reader Ministry. All in the beautiful setting of the cathedrals new installation Peace Doves.
