Cathedral Welcome for New Archdeacon of Chichester
The new Archdeacon of Chichester, The Venerable Luke Irvine-Capel SSC, was welcomed to his new post as Archdeacon of Chichester in a special service in Chichester Cathedral on Thursday (9 May).
The new Archdeacon was joined by family, friends and colleagues and was affirmed into his new post before he took his place in his stall. The congregation then greeted the Archdeacon with a round of applause.
