As we begin to role out plans to mark the 950th anniversary of the move of Christian mission in this diocese from Selsey to Chichester, it gives us an opportunity to say something about who we are as the inheritors in the 21st century of this great momentum of Christian witness and faith.
Please encourage all the people you serve to respond to four questions about what their faith means to them, in whatever way they wish. The deadline for responses is 30th September 2024.
There will also be an invitation to send us photographs that illustrate the diversity of our diocesan life and context. Details about that can be located here.
This will be a record of what our Church is like today: we hope and pray that it will also encourage us to look to the future with hope and confidence in the abiding purposes of God’s plan for salvation and glory for his children.
