Vicar Tom Robson describes next week’s week of guided prayer at All Saints, Wick as “a wonderful opportunity to make a retreat in the middle of everyday life”.
The Parish has set aside a Week of Guided Prayer between Sunday 17 to Saturday 23 June aimed at encouraging people to pray daily and to find some real time for reflection during times, for many, of real stress in daily life.
“The week is open to people from any church or Christian organisation, “ said Tom today who is hoping that people see this as a great opportunity to focus on the importance of prayer.
Prayer guides will be available in the church to assist anyone who wants help and guidance.
The initiative is a response to the Bishop of Chichester’s designation of 2018 as a year of prayer across the Diocese. It has been marked by a number of initiatives in many parishes and deaneries.
