New Priests ordained across Sussex

Parishes turned out in great numbers to support the twelve women and men who were ordained priest in the Diocese of Chichester at the weekend (Saturday 19 May)

As priests, the newly ordained will now be able to celebrate the Eucharist and offer God's blessing.

Candidates at St Saviour's, Eastbourne, were ordained by the Bishop of Chichester, Martin Warner. The Bishop of Lewes, Richard Jackson, ordained candidates at All Saint’s Eastbourne, and the Bishop of Horsham, Mark Sowerby, ordained candidates at St Mary’s Storrington.
