Many Voices - One Spirit takes place at the Dome in Brighton on Sunday, June 9.
Booked as the keynote speaker is Roy Crowne from Hope Together. Roy became HOPE Together Executive Director in March 2010 and was previously the National Director of Youth for Christ in Britain for 12 years.
Stuart Barbour, acclaimed singer and songwriter from Sussex, will be providing first class worship music and Revd Martin Poole will be applying his usual Beyond style creativity using both traditional and contemporary ways to provide a stunning visual effect in a way that helps everyone to worship God and be inspired by the Spirit.
PRAYER SPACE INFORMATION From 2pm-6pm the Brighton Dome will be open for prayer. There will be three prayer spaces - family, healing & contemplative.
FAMILY The family space will be accessible for all ages at any time and will offer an opportunity to engage in creative activities on the theme of 'The Kingdom of God is like...'. There will be a multisensory soft play area for toddlers and lots of things to make and do which can be taken home afterwards.
HEALING The healing space will be run in two blocks with the Bethesda Healing Rooms team in attendance from 2pm-4pm and a team from the Chanctonbury Churches from 4pm-6pm. In addition the Acapella Lifestream Gospel Singers who use music as healing prayer will sing at 2pm and 3pm for a short time. This is a drop-in space when anyone can come for personal prayer for healing.
CONTEMPLATIVE This space will be hosted by the Brighton & Hove Centre for Spirituality and offers an introduction to various forms of contemplative prayer. Click on the links below to find out more information on the different contemplative prayer workshops and register. Limited numbers.
Everything is free to attend, but we would like to know numbers. Please register your parish group or individual booking here if you wish to attend all or part of the day. This ecumenical event will be followed by an evening of worship and music from 7.00pm.
