The DAC is currently reviewing its own advice notes.
In the meantime, please refer to the excellent guidance notes published by the Church Buildings Council's on a wide range of topics relating to the care of church buildings and churchyards, dealing with particular issues, and planning major changes. For example, there are guidance notes on accessibility for church buildings, planning a reordering, dealing with bats, and installing new facilities. The full set of guidance notes can be accessed here.
