The Chaplaincy Team at St Michael’s Hospice welcomes everyone of all faiths and of none – and encourages people to express their spirituality or practice their religion in their own way.

We are very proud of our heritage and stunning 100 year old chapel and we remain committed to championing the diversity of the community we serve, and wish to continue promoting our multi-faith work. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with a passion for pastoral and spiritual care.

As the Spiritual Care Lead you should be of degree calibre with previous experience in pastoral care within a healthcare/community setting and a multi-disciplinary team. You will offer an informed ethical, theological, existential and pastoral resource in a multi-cultural and multi-faith context.

Alternatively we have an opportunity for a Hospice Chaplain. You will be an ordained or accredited minister of religion within a member denomination of Churches together in England or its partner bodies in the UK.

In either role you will work closely with local faith leaders arranging visits for patients and relatives’ ensuring religious care is available to everyone using the Hospice’s Services.

We are happy to receive applications from individuals who are interested in either role.
