Rural Dean of Hurst announced

The Bishop of Chichester, Dr Martin Warner, has appointed The Revd Paul Doick as the Rural Dean of Hurst to serve for the next five years from16 May.

Bishop Martin said: “I do appreciate his willingness to serve the Deanery in this role, alongside his ministry in the parishes of Henfield with Shermanbury and Woodmancote.

“Please support him with your prayers and commitment to the Chapter and life of the Deanery.”

Bishop Martin said the deanery had been ‘well served’ by the Revd Kevin O’Brien who stepped down after seven years.
