THOUSANDS of young people will be reminded that, in little over a week's time, WHERE they are studying and WHAT subject they will embrace for the next few years will all be decided on the A LEVEL results day - Thursday 17 August.
It's an equally tense time for parents and teachers, of course, who are also waiting with bated breath to see if all their support and hard word results in the right course and the right place.
It is important to stress, however, that there is a huge amount of advice and support for those who don't quite hit their hoped-for grades.
Teachers interrupt their holidays to come in and help students through clearing and to ensure maximum encouragement to the very best future courses available once the results are known.
Last year, the Church of England issued this prayer which many found helpful to reflect on as the results day approached.
It might be worth praying it in your churches this week as we intercede for all those young people who might be a bit more nervous than usual!
