Training workshops to help clergy discern priorities have been planned for Autumn.
The training, led by the Archdeacon of Horsham, Fiona Windsor, has been especially designed to help clergy to discern where they should be focusing their energy, and also to discern what responsibilities they should not be taking on personally.
"Clergy often find it hard to know how to set priorities, and especially to know when they should be saying, no!'' said Archdeacon Fiona.
''It will include advice and help on drawing up an effective Role Description, and will explore various ways in which clergy can guard their souls and take proper care of themselves.''
Archdeacon Fiona was the lead author of the recent Crawley and Horsham Review. She will be sharing insights from the Review process as part of the workshop.
The CMD day is free of charge to licensed clergy in the Diocese of Chichester. Places will be limited to 15 per workshop, so please book early.
