The Bishops Visitations

The Bishops Visitations

The Bishop of Chichester, the Right Revd Dr Martin Warner, has organised for a Visitation of Chichester Cathedral to take place during April 2016. This process will allow him to establish an overview of the Cathedral's worship and mission. Bishop Martin believes that carrying out an in-depth review of the life of the Cathedral will throw new light on the ways it can serve both its immediate community and the wider community of the church in Sussex. (Click here to read more about the Visitation.)

The Visitation will be carried out by a panel of three people on behalf of the Bishop. The selected panel are as follows:

Pim Baxter who is currently Deputy Director at the National Portrait Gallery in London, where she has been a member of the senior team since 1997.

Simon Jones has been Chaplain and Fellow of Merton College since 2002. He is an Honorary Canon of Christ Church, Oxford and is a Wiccamical Prebendary of Chichester Cathedral.

Richard Mantle is General Director and Board Trustee of Opera North.
