  • Energy audit for your Church

Type: PDF By: Diocese of Chichester When: 26 September 2012

In Genesis 2:15 we read “The God took the man and placed him in the garden to till it and keep it”.

Our planet is God’s creation, the planet Earth is given to us as the source of life but, too, we have the responsibility to look after our environment. In Britain today we are using far too much energy and are causing damage to the earth; we must reduce our energy consumption.

Following God’s commission to “till and keep” means using less energy; this is good for creation and can also save money.
