Over 30 of the women clergy in Chichester Diocese met for a half day conference in October 2017.

The event had two objectives: social - to get to know each other as we are so geographically spread out in the diocese, and also to exchange ideas and information about women's ministry in Chichester and nationally.

Ann Waizeneker, Dean of Women's Ministry said: "It was a very positive meeting with lots of useful thinking and a real acknowledgement of the progress made in the Diocese to enable ordained women to flourish and enjoy their ministry alongside brothers and sisters with differing theological belief. Those who met on Wednesday recognised that there is still work to be done but there was a great sense of progress made and the determination to publicise this nationally."
