Intimate Jesus: The Sexuality of God Incarnate
Sunday 25 June 2017 2.30 – 4.30pm at St Andrew’s Church, Burgess Hill
Sex, sexuality and Christian faith can throw up some difficult questions. Many of us have struggled with areas of our sexuality and sex lives as we have tried to live faithfully as followers of Jesus. Using the gospel of John, particularly the story of Jesus and the woman at the well, this session explores how Jesus lived out his own sexuality.
Revd Dr Andy Angel is the vicar of St Andrew’s, Burgess Hill and the author of Intimate Jesus: The Sexuality of God Incarnate . He spent many years as a New Testament lecturer, most recently as the Vice Principal of St John’s College, Nottingham.
